THE TOUR IS CONFIRMED TO PROCEED as we’ve already reached our minimum group size. You’re welcome to go ahead and book flights. Please refer to the To Do List and Trip Notes for instructions.

There are still a few places available (including a twin share place, sharing with another solo traveller). Please continue to tell your friends and family about the tour, but only share the INFORMATION PACK PAGE, and not this final group tour page.

IMPORTANT DATES AND REMINDERS:

Complete and submit your Travel Details form ASAP and no later than 31 October
Pay your tour balance no later than 7 November 2026 (AEDT)
Our welcome briefing meeting is at 6pm on 23 January 2027 at Mani Mansion.

Our starting point hotel is Mani Mansion – Behind Mehdi Nawaz Jung Hall, Paldi Cross Roads, Ellisbridge, Ahmedabad

Our finishing point hotel is House of MG – Bhadra Rd, Opp. Sidi, Old City, Gheekanta, Lal Darwaja, Ahmedabad.

OPTIONAL PRE-TOUR SIGHTSEEING TOURS: As each activity requires a minimum of 2 participants to proceed, please indicate your interest (and your preferred date/time) by sending us an email, sooner rather than later, to allow coordination with others in the group. These activities include return transfers from Mani Mansion, our starting point hotel. Confirm your interest on the Travel Details Form. These pre-tour activities will be added to your invoice for the tour balance. EOIs will be indicated below in red as they’re received.

Ahmedabad food tour @ A$150 per person (min 2 people) – Highly recommended. Explore the delicacies and flavours of Gujarat in Ahmedabad’s old city and Manek chowk area, visiting generational food joints and guided by a culinary expert. Departs at 16:00 hrs. Duration: 2-2.5 hours. NOTE: only available on/before 22 Jan or on/after 7 Feb. It cannot be taken on 23 January, as you won’t return to our hotel in time for our 6pm welcome briefing meeting.

Full-day Ahmedabad sightseeing tour @ A$180 per person (min 2 people) – Includes visits to Hutheesing Jain Temple, Sidi Saiyed Mosque, Bhadra fort and Gandhi’s Sabarmati Ashram. Departs at 09:00 hrs. Duration: approximately 6 hours.

Garba dance class on 25 January @ A$60 per person will be added to your invoice for the tour balance.
