REMINDERS:
- Install WhatsApp on your phone at least 2 weeks prior to departure. We’ll create a WhatsApp chat group for this tour and will use it to provide last minute pre-tour updates and daily on-tour updates and reminders.
- If you haven’t yet applied for your India eVisa, you should do so NOW. Please follow the instructions provided – scroll down to locate the information and instructions document.

- The tipping kitty contribution is INR 10,000 per person. Our guide will tip providers (including our bus drivers) on behalf of the group for all included group activities.
- The tipping kitty DOES NOT include a tip for our local tour leader so you may wish to set aside some funds for this. It is customary to tip your tour leader at the end of the tour, for outstanding service provided throughout your trip. We suggest around INR700-850 per person, per day x 18 days = INR 12,600-15,300. You are free to tip our guide more or less as you see fit, depending on your perception of service quality. There’s the option to present a collective tip to our guide at our final dinner or you are welcome to hand your own tip to our guide if you prefer.
- Arrange for either a global roaming cell/mobile phone package from your provider or purchase an eSIM. Refer to the Trip Notes for more information. - Upload your travel documents, eVisa and vaccination certificates to your phone. Carry them at all times during your travels. Email a copy to your next of kin.
- Notify your bank that you’ll be travelling overseas to prevent your card being cancelled the first time you use it outside your home country.
- Complete your e-Arrival card within 72 hours prior to your arrival in India HERE
OPTIONAL PRE-PAID PRE-TOUR or POST-TOUR SIGHTSEEING/ACTIVITIES: Each activity requires a minimum of TWO bookings to proceed. Prices include return transfers from our tour hotel. Indicate your request/s and preferred dates on your Travel Details Form.
- Heritage Delhi Food Walking tour – explore the flavours of Old Delhi with a chef guide @ AU$160 per person. Departs at 09:30AM from our tour hotel.
- 9 OCT – Belinda, Rae, Betsy, Debi
- Full day sightseeing tour of Delhi – Qutub Minar, Humayun’s tomb and the Red Fort @ AU$220 per person. Departs hotel at 08:30AM. Returns at ~3:30-4:00PM

- Mohabbat-e-Taj cultural show on 12 October @ AU$85 per person including return transfers from our Agra hotel. The story of the Taj Mahal told through music, dance and song. Will be invoiced with tour balance.
