1. Please read all documentation carefully and thoroughly to determine if the tour is right for you, noting the insurance, health, fitness and mobility requirements. Be sure to also read the Important Notes below.
2. Should you wish to apply for a spot, please download and complete the Application Form and Fitness to Travel document and email them to retreatrecreate@gmail.com . You can either use the ‘fill & sign’ function on your pdf reader software, or simply print out the forms, complete by hand and scan or photograph them. Please write JAPAN BLUE NOV26 in the subject header of your email.
Important Notes:
- this tour is currently only open by invitation. Please do not share this page with friends;
- a deposit of AUD$1500 will be required to secure your booking. Instructions for payment will be provided to successful applicants and payment must be made within 48 hours;
- the tour price and inclusions can be found on the last page of the itinerary;
- If AUD (Australian dollar) is not your local currency you may wish to use XE online currency converter for a guide to an approximate equivalent price, however all payments must be made in AUD;
- this tour is for women only;
- the maximum number of travellers is 12;
- if we don’t reach our minimum group size (8) the tour will not proceed and your deposit will be refunded or credited to a future tour;
- if we receive more bookings than there are places, unsuccessful applicants may request to be added to the waiting list;
- places are not allocated on a first come first serve basis as we need to juggle the number of single and twin rooms against applications;
- the itinerary provided doesn’t include names of hotels, venues etc. A detailed itinerary will be provided to successful applicants closer to departure;
While we have run several Japan Blue over the years, this new itinerary is brand new for 2026, and features new-to-us locations and workshops. Please read the itinerary carefully, particularly if you had your heart set on something that may have been specific to previous indigo itineraries. Note too that this November tour is higher in price than the January and February tours due to increased accommodation prices in autumn.
We’ve tried to anticipate all questions by providing information on costs, conditions, workshops and activities etc, in the documents below but if you have any further queries, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
