We’re very excited about this textile and handcrafts itinerary and hope you are too! We’ve tried to anticipate all questions by providing information on costs, conditions, workshops and activities etc, in the documents below but if you have any further queries, please don’t hesitate to contact us. (However, please carefully read the contents of this web page and the documents first as your answer is likely there. The To Do List and the Trip Notes are particularly helpful for dates and questions).

Pay your balance no later than 26 June
OPTIONS FOR TRAVELLING TO/FROM AIRPORTS
If you don’t book arrival or departure transfers through us, alternative options for travelling to and from the airports are:
1. Arrange your own private transfer. Two options are: NearMe via their website: LINK HERE or Airport Taxi Transfers, via their website: LINK HERE
2. Take the train from either airport to Akihabara station. Follow signs for Central Gate and exit via Central South Exit. Walk 3 minutes to the hotel (google maps will help with the exact location).
3. Take a taxi/Uber (before getting in a taxi, check if they take cash or card)

STARTING AND FINISHING POINT HOTELS
The starting point hotel in Tokyo is TBC but likely to be Washington Akihabara Hotel.

NOTE RE DIETARY REQUESTS
Our Japan team works closely with all the tour restaurants to arrange the group’s meals many weeks before the tour begins. Restaurants are chosen and meals ordered in line with the dietary requirements and restrictions (pescatarian, dairy-free, etc) that you advised when booking. If you have new or changed dietary requirements you must let us know as soon as possible, not when you arrive on tour. Our guide does not have the capacity to contact two weeks’ worth of restaurants to amend all the meals orders, so last minute changed dietary requests cannot be accommodated. Thank you for your understanding.
Note that as per the Trip Notes, vegan, vegetarian and GF diets cannot be accommodated on this tour. Vegetarians are requested to be pescatarian while on tour.
