  • We recommend all nationalities continue to check with Indonesian Immigration or their nearest Indonesian consulate or embassy for the latest visa and entry requirements up until their departure at www.indonesiaimmigration.org
  • Some nationalities may apply for a ‘visa upon arrival’, valid for a stay of up to 30 days. https://allindonesia.imigrasi.go.id/
  • ALL travellers must complete an electronic ARRIVAL CARD (including a health declaration and customs declaration) within 72 hours prior to their arrival in Indonesia. After completing the online form you’ll receive a barcode. Save your barcode or print it. The barcode will be scanned by authorities on arrival. Refer to https://allindonesia.imigrasi.go.id/ for full details.
  • ALL foreign tourists entering Bali are subject to a tourist levy of IDR 150,000 per person. Cashless payments can be made online at the official website, prior to travel or upon arrival at designated payment counters at Bali/Denpasar airport. The tourist levy is separate from the ‘e-Visa/Visa on Arrival’ and the e-Arrival Card. https://lovebali.baliprov.go.id/home

SEE YOU ALL AT DENPASAR AIRPORT DOMESTIC TERMINAL, NEAR THE CHECK-IN MACHINE, NO LATER THAN 08:00AM ON 28 JUNE 2026

  • DAY 1 28 June – Our meeting point is inside the domestic terminal at Denpasar Airport, near the check-in machine. Please be there by 08:00am at the latest!  PLEASE DON’T check in for the flight – Once we’re all together, we’ll check in as a group with our local tour leader, followed by our briefing meeting. Our delightful local tour leader is Tony (Antonius) Lianurat. Our flight on 28 June is scheduled to depart from Bali/Denpasar airport (DPS) at 10:00AM and arrive at Kupang (KOE) at 11:45AM.
  • DAY 14 / 11 July – In case you wish to arrange your own transfer from Denpasar airport to your chosen accommodation, our flight IN641 from Waikabubak-Tambolaka Airport (TMC) is scheduled to arrive at Bali/Denpasar airport (DPS) at 16:15 on 11 July.

THINGS TO NOTE:

  • As at 24 April, our program on 1 – 4 July has been re-arranged to allow us to attend the recently confirmed and very exciting ‘grand opening’ of the 1 July Lamahalot Festival – a celebration of the rich culture (including the textiles and handcrafts) of the Lamahalot indigenous communities across East Flores, Adonara, Solor, Lembata, and Alor.  Refer to the Detailed Itinerary for details.
  • As at 25 May, the itinerary document (below) has been updated to reflect the following changes: Due to flight availability, we will now fly from Lembata to Sumba (via Kupang) on day 10. Accordingly, activities for days 11, 12 and 13 have been moved by one day. Our visit to Ruma Budaya Museum will now be on day 14. Unfortunately, with these reschedules, there won’t be time to visit Waekuri lagoon (previously on day 13). However, an additional village visit has been added (on day 9). At Lamalera, a traditional whaling village, we’ll see ikat textiles with whale, boat and manta ray motifs, boat sails woven from pandan fibre and rope made from plant fibre.

We’re very excited about this itinerary and hope you are too!  We’ve tried to anticipate all questions by providing information on costs, conditions, workshops and activities etc, in the documents below but if you have any further queries, please don’t hesitate to contact us. However, please carefully read the contents of this web page and the documents first as your answer is likely to be there.
