The itinerary is the same for both tours. Each will be fully escorted by our local Moroccan guide and a retreat|recreate host.
Beginning in Marrakech and concluding in Casablanca, these socially responsible, off the beaten track 16 night/17 day tours feature six hands-on handcraft experiences in leatherwork, palm leaf weaving, carpet knotting & weaving, embroidery, botanical dyeing, and zellige mosaic work, plus visits to handcraft and carpet museums, Amazigh (Berber) villages and women’s carpet and embroidery co-operatives, kasbahs galore, a magical night glamping in the pristine dunes of the Sahara desert, camel rides, the spectacular Atlas Mountains, UNESCO World Heritage sites, visits to private homes, the artisan quarters of ancient medinas, and so much more. See the Itinerary and Trip Notes for more details.
Things to note:
- Please see the fitness and mobility requirements on page 1 of the Trip Notes;
- our maximum group size is 12 women on each tour. A group this size is big enough to be viable but small enough that we don’t need a massive tour bus; we can also select boutique accommodation, eat at local restaurants and in family homes, and enjoy hands-on craft experiences with locals in their small studios;
- Single rooms are not available on Day 9; solo travellers will be paired up in our lovely glamping tents for this one night;
- this itinerary differs from our previous Morocco itineraries. Please ensure you read the itinerary carefully in case you had your heart set on a particular town or activity. (Eg. we do not visit Sefrou or Chefchaouen in 2026).
Please don’t hesitate to ask any questions or seek clarification about anything, but do check the Trip Notes and Booking Conditions first; your answer may well be there.
